Passionate Pink Wedding Dress
Looking at colour for your 2017 wedding? Well then you are bang on trend.
With pastel blues and stunning shades of lilacs popping up in several collections they we outshined by shades of pretty pinks. The traditional colour of white isn’t for everyone, so why not try a subtle pink? Designers such as Marchesa and Christian Siriano approved this look on the run way and we love it. Some of our favourite included some beautiful blush floral designs!
Lace is here to stay – will it ever go? So get excited and prepare to fall in love all over again with some of the Spring 2017 wedding dresses. Lace is usually seen in more formal wedding dress however close your eyes and imagine it in a much more rock and roll format. Designers have definitely been inspired by Coachella’s hippy chic style and have applied it to 2017’s wedding dress collections. Are you a more alternative bride, could this trend be for you?

If you love this trend but aren’t completely sure cover up the plunge with some sheer material, it’s the same look but you are being more discreet with it. For this one though be sure not to have a wardrobe malfunction, especially on your big day! We suggest having tape and nipple covers at the ready!
Bardot Style Wedding Dress
Bardot Style simply means off the shoulder. Seen on many brides before this trend does not stop coming back and no wonder – it’s gorgeous! This strapless wedding gown look was one of the most prominent spring runway trends. Don’t be afraid to change up this look by baring all from an open neckline to a simple cut-out.
The Wedding Cape
The cape has been popular on the high-street, on the catwalk and even know on the bridal runways! Over the past few seasons capes have stolen the show with their superhero style – why wouldn’t you want to feel like Wonderwoman on your wedding day? One of our favourite 2017 bridal looks was from the wonderful Lela Rose’s collection which even featured a collar! Naeem Khan’s collection mixed the lace look with a cape creating the most beautiful fusion. We are all for keeping the cape for 2016.
The Bare Bride
Brides are bearing all in 2017 and are taking inspiration from underwear looks. Underwear and bridal wear go hand and hand if it’s the look that you are wanting. Why not try a laced corset or an embroidered bustier top? A lighter look is also on trend for bridal dresses for 2017. Think a ’90s slip dress in a chic ivory style, perfect if you are having your wedding abroad or are looking for a party dress for evening time. Be adventurous and try some slip on satin like Elizabeth Fillmore’s boudoir-influenced range.
